Job summary

Winchester Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH), seeks an Endoscopy Tech for the Endoscopy Team. The role supports room prep, patient care, and safe disinfection of equipment in a 32-hour per week day shift.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CNA training or nursing student rotations, phlebotomy/EKG/Nursing Assistant experience, and BLS. BILH is an integrated health system serving Eastern Massachusetts and NH.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of a Certified Nurse’s Assistant course or nursing student with two completed clinical rotations
• Experience: Phlebotomy, EKG or Nursing Assistant required
• Preferred: ACU or Medical/Surgical
• BLS is required

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms and equipment.
• Assist with patient care to facilitate an orderly, efficient and safe clinical environment.
• Ensure equipment and scopes are properly cleaned and disinfected.
• Provide quality and safe patient care.
• Facilitate patients in and out of procedure room.
• Independently turnover procedure rooms (remove used scopes; change over suction & O2 tubing; terminal cleaning of equipment; set up room; inspect Endosoft) for expedient turnaround in a neat environment.
• Obtain vital signs and record findings
