Job summary

Arizona Advanced Endoscopy in Arizona seeks a GI/Endo Tech to assist the RN and care for patients before and after procedures. You will help with pre-op preparation, transport, and post-op instructions, while maintaining a clean, orderly environment.

The role involves equipment management, patient coordination, and active participation in infection control and safety initiatives. A supportive team and comprehensive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience or interest in healthcare industry.
• Knowledge of GI procedures.

GI/Endo Tech at Arizona Advanced Endoscopy

Assists Registered Nurse in preparing patients for procedures, and caring for them post-op.

• Checks pre/ post op area for cleanliness and orderliness.
• Brings the patient to pre-op area and assists with changing if needed.
• Takes vital signs.
• Makes sure all pre-op testing, H&P, and necessary paperwork are on chart prior to surgical procedure.
• Transports patients to and from procedure rooms.
• Maintains supplies and equipment.
• Restocks carts.
• Directs family members.
• Includes family / patient in post-op instructions.
• Coordinates patient transportation.
• Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
• Participates in QAPI, Infection Control and Safety Program.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Required Experience:

Experience or interest in healthcare industry.

Knowledge of GI procedures.
