Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center in Corpus Christi, TX seeks an Endoscopy Technician to support GI and endoscopy procedures by preparing rooms, equipment, and supplies, ensuring safety and cleanliness.

You will assist physicians and nurses, help position patients, and maintain documentation and sterilization standards while delivering compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• 1+ years of experience in endoscopy or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verify working order, and maintain stocked supplies.
• Assist in positioning and transporting patients safely and comfortably.
• Support physicians and nurses during procedures, handle instruments, and follow safety practices.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy equipment and document quality records.
• Communicate with patients and families with kindness and preserve privacy.

Job Summary And Qualifications

As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well-organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked
• Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself
• Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety
• Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout their care
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
