Kettering Health Main Campus is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Associate to clean operating rooms, assist in moving and positioning patients, and support surgical teams. The role involves transporting patients, running errands, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available for procedures.

Applicants should be prepared to perform clerical tasks as needed and support pre/post patient care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Cleaning procedure rooms & room turnover
• Preferred: Assist in moving & positioning patients
• Preferred: Perform appointment reminders to out-patients (via phone)
• Preferred: Provide support in pre/post to patients
• Preferred: Stocking equipment & supplies
• Preferred: Clerical tasks (taking meeting minutes, office supply inventory, answering phones, making charts, filing…)
• Preferred: Accomplishes tasks delegated under advisement of an RN
• Preferred: Transport of patients must have physical ability to push beds & carts independently

Responsabilités

• Clean operating rooms and stock supplies for surgical cases.
• Assist in moving and positioning patients as needed.
• Transport patients as needed and perform errands for the unit.
• Acquire supplies and equipment for surgical cases and ensure cleaning and stocking are completed as assigned.
