Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing assessment of nursing care needs using the nursing process.
• Develop written plans of care based on patient needs and priorities.
• Provide nursing interventions safely and competently.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care and interventions.
• Assess and evaluate care for Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, and Geriatric populations.
• Initiate admission database and discharge planning in collaboration with inpatient staff.
• Address patients' psychosocial, cultural, and emotional needs.
• Develop educational components for nursing care plans and provide teaching/counseling.
• Integrate health promotion and preventive care into ongoing assessments.
• Participate in continued education programs and nursing research.
