Boston Children's Hospital seeks a Sterile Processing Endoscopy Supervisor to oversee Endoscopy Technicians in the operating room and GPU Department, administering high-level disinfection per AORN, AAMI and SGNA standards.

You will coordinate, train, and supervise staff, manage instrument inventory, and collaborate with SPD leadership. Schedule is 6:45am-3:15pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call weekends/holidays; includes an $8,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree preferred.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• CER certification required.
• CHL or SIPS-HFL should be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPD Manager certification preferred.
• Minimum of five years' experience as a sterile processing technician or Endoscopy Technician.

Responsabilités

• Collaborates with GPU charge nurse to deploy technical staff resources for sterile endoscopic equipment for surgical cases.
• Implements and maintains decontamination and sterilization methods as needed.
• Monitors assignments and mentors less experienced staff; provides training.
• Selects, trains and supervises staff; conducts performance evaluations.
• Monitors compliance with hospital, departmental and safety policies and regulations.
• Maintains inventory of instruments, equipment, and materials.
