Job summary

USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Kingsland is seeking an Endoscopy RN to join our team. The RN will plan, execute and evaluate nursing care in the Endoscopy unit, ensuring safety and adherence to state standards.

Ideal candidate has endoscopy/PACU experience and active Texas RN license. Responsibilities include assisting physicians in procedures, maintaining equipment and cleanliness, and coordinating care across pre-op, Endoscopy, and PACU areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Currently licensed in the state.
• CPR required; advanced life support certification required.
• Minimum of one-year experience in Endoscopy; PACU experience required.
• SGNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate nursing care in the Endoscopy unit.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and unit cleanliness.
• Provide patient care in pre-operative holding, Endoscopy suite, and PACU.
• Assist physicians with Endoscopy procedures per SGNA guidelines.
• Communicate with the care team and participate in quality improvement.
