Job summary

Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking an Endoscopy RN for a full-time role on the AM shift (06:30-17:00). A generous sign-on bonus of $12,500 is offered. The position requires ADN, Diploma, or BSN with an active SC RN license.

Emphasis on compassionate patient care, collaboration with clinicians, and adherence to nursing standards. The role includes promoting patient health, education, and support to families, while following hospital policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: ADN, Diploma or BSN.
• New graduate RN’s who acquire their generic RN education through an on-line program will not meet LMC minimum qualifications.
• Minimum Years of Experience: None.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: Current RN license to practice in the State of South Carolina.
• Refer to Mandatory Certification Requirements P&P for required education/certification for various nursing specialties.
• Required Training: None

Responsibilities

• Establishes positive rapport with patient and family.
• Provides emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, family, and significant others.
• Educates patient and family about condition, medications, and self-care.
• Acts as patient/family advocate; maintains confidentiality.
• Uses systematic nursing judgment in data gathering, assessment, and evaluation.
• Performs environmental checks and maintains safe, clean environment.
• Meets professional attendance and service expectations.
• Earns continuing education during employment.
