Job summary

Consumer Directed Services Inc. is seeking an Endoscopy Registered Nurse in Asheville, NC to provide safe, compassionate nursing care for GI and endoscopic procedures.

You will coordinate pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care, assess patients, monitor vitals, administer medications and sedation, and collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia, and the care team. You will educate patients and families and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse licensure.
• Strong clinical assessment, monitoring, and sedation medication administration skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the procedure and recovery.
• Administer medications and provide moderate sedation as appropriate.
• Manage recovery care and respond to patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families and ensure understanding of care instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Follow safety, infection prevention, and quality standards.
