Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join the Endoscopy Department in Weston, FL. The role focuses on upper GI endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCP/endoscopic ultrasound, providing patient-centered care in a collaborative team.

The position involves day shifts with on-call coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and occasional Saturdays. It offers strong benefits and growth opportunities within the Cleveland Clinic Florida region.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be presented upon hire or within first year of employment based on the department service level RN is hired into
• One year of current acute care RN experience
• BSN preferred
• Endoscopy, ICU or Med/Surg experience preferred
• Procedural RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
• Validate and document patient and family understanding of teaching.
