Valley Health in Winchester, VA, is seeking a Registered Nurse II for the Endoscopy department. The RN will perform the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, coordinate care, supervise staff, and lead patient teaching with a focus on safety and quality.

Requirements include an RN license (Virginia/West Virginia eligible), an Associates degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), and 1872 hours of RN experience (936 hours if BSN). BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Meets all requirements of a RN I.
• Competent to provide care using the nursing process.
• RN license required with state licensure eligibility

Responsabilités

• Carry out the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, evaluation, documentation and time management.
• Direct, coordinate and implement patient teaching and quality/safety initiatives.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate health team personnel while maintaining professional standards.
• Ensure quality communication, teamwork and professionalism; maintain regulatory compliance.
