TAG MedStaffing is hiring an Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN) in New York, NY for our client. This role provides nursing care before, during, and after outpatient procedures, including patient assessments, procedural support, patient monitoring, and recovery care.

The Endoscopy RN collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care. Qualified candidates will have a BSN, NY RN license, ACLS preferred (BLS considered if willing to obtain ACLS), and 4+ years in endoscopy or

Qualifications

• Education: BSN or equivalent nursing qualification required.
• Licensure: Active RN license in New York State.
• Certification: ACLS preferred; BLS considered if willing to obtain ACLS.
• Experience: 4+ years in endoscopy, ambulatory surgery, perioperative or OR settings.
• Industry knowledge: Endoscopy procedures, sedation, post-anesthesia recovery.
• Technical skills: IV insertion, meds administration, monitoring equipment, EMR.

Responsibilities

• Patient assessment: pre-procedure assessments, vital signs, and prep.
• Procedural support: assist physicians, meds administration, IV therapy.
• Patient monitoring: monitor conditions and responses during procedures.
• Post-procedure care: recovery and discharge readiness assessment.
• Clinical documentation: record-keeping and reporting.
• Safety & compliance: infection control, equipment maintenance, QA activities.
