Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Direct Patient Care Registered Nurse (DPC RN) for its Endoscopy unit. This licensed professional will deliver patient-family centered care, demonstrate core nursing competencies, and apply evidence-based standards of care across a diverse patient population.

The role requires an active Florida RN license, 7 months Endoscopy RN experience, and an associate degree (BSN preferred). BLS/ACLS are required, with BSN for some promotion tracks. EOE.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• 7 months of RN experience in Endoscopy.
• Associate degree in nursing or BSN preferred.
• RNs hired before 2012 are not required to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role as an RN.
• RNs hired after 2012 with an associate degree will have 3 years from their date of hire to complete the BSN degree.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Certification in area of practice preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based practice standards of quality, safety and service.
• Demonstrate assessment, technical skills, communication, critical thinking, interpersonal skills, planning, intervention, evaluation, flexibility, organizational skills, professional accountability and leadership.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality perioperative/endoscopy nursing care.
