Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Lexington is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care and support patient recovery in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Eligibility includes KY RN licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and ACLS within 90 days. This role is based in Lexington, KY with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active Registered Nurse license for KY at hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills for patient care.
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems using critical decision-making to determine need for interventions.
• Implements and/or modifies plan of care with education and discharge planning components.
• Delivers care respecting patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.
• Evaluates progress toward patient outcome goals.
