Job summary

Wellness Avenue Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse Endoscopy Circulator to join the Gastroenterology team. The RN will provide patient care in a fast-paced endoscopy setting, focus on customer service, and work with minimal supervision.

This role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to center policies. The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in Florida, and at least 1 year of Endoscopy experience with current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• 1+ years of Endoscopy RN experience.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Center policies and demonstrates fiscal responsibility.
• Follows standards, procedures, and goals for non-acutely ill patients per accepted standards.
• Understands needs of each age group in the patient population.
• Complies with OSHA and blood-borne pathogen standards.
• Uses proper body mechanics.
• Remains calm and functions as a team member during stress or crises.
• Takes vital signs and documents V/S using monitors.
• Follows employee health and staffing policies.
