Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Endoscopy/Ambulatory Procedure Unit position in Maine. Prior endo experience and the ability to perform endo tech duties are required. This is a 12-week assignment from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, using Epic EMR.

Applicants must hold a ME or compact RN license, BLS, two professional references, a driver's license, and have GI/Endoscopy experience. Candidates living within 90 miles of MaineHealth facilities are considered local and ineligible for

Qualifications

Active RN license (ME or compact) required.
BLS and other AHA certifications required, completed before start.
Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
Prior GI/Endoscopy experience required, including endo tech duties.
Driver's license required for consideration.
Two professional references required.

Responsibilities

Endoscopy/ACU-OPD setting.
12-week assignment with 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM shift.
Uses Epic EMR.
25-mile float policy between facilities as needed.
Serve as an RN with cross-functional responsibilities in the endo tech role.
Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are not eligible for renewals.
RTO should be minimal; 3-4 days for a 13-week contract.
Disclose prior MaineHealth employment within past 12 months.
First-time travelers may be considered.
