Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Rock Island, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy Unit to deliver high-quality patient care during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. You will collaborate with physicians, technicians, and other caregivers to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role focuses on endoscopy procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs, bronchoscopies, ERCPs) and urgent cases across Endoscopy, OR, and ICU.

Qualifications

• Endoscopy/diagnostics experience preferred.
• Diploma from an RN program.
• Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse; BLS and ACLS required.
• Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high quality care utilizing the nursing process on assigned unit.
• Consults hospital resources to provide specialized education.
• Ensures patient and workplace safety by preventing errors and reporting concerns.
• Completes accurate documentation to maintain a legal patient record.
• Engages in professional development and nursing practice activities.
