Job summary

North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery in Houston, TX, is seeking a PRN Endoscopy RN to support surgical cases in a fast-paced ambulatory center.

The Circulating RN will position and prepare patients, assist during endoscopy procedures, and ensure patient safety throughout the case. Weekdays only, no holidays or weekends; some early mornings or later evenings may be required to align with the surgical schedule. Experience in GI/endoscopy settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Position the patient and prep the patient for surgery.
• Circulate the case and assist during endoscopy procedures.
• Support safety and flow of the surgical case according to protocol.

Welcome to North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery

We have 4 OR rooms and 2 treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Colorectal, GI, Pain Management.

Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Endoscopy RN at North Houston Endoscopy & Surgery

The Endoscopy RN provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: if applicable

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
