Job summary

United Digestive in Atlanta, GA is seeking an RN-Endoscopy Pre-Call Nurse to manage pre-op preparation and ensure patients complete all clearances two weeks before procedures. You will verify pre-op requirements and financial responsibilities, and collaborate with endoscopy facilities to fill slots when patients cancel.

You will review Health History & Physicals, coordinate with anesthesia, import documents into ProVation, and help maintain accurate patient charts.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required; a Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• Current State RN license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in the last 5 years; 2–3 years clinical experience preferred.
• Experience with clinical and business systems: EPIC, ProVation, EClinicalWorks, PowerBI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Contact each patient two weeks before the procedure to confirm prep instructions.
• Verify BMI and coordinate visit or procedure with staff; reschedule as needed.
• Review History & Physicals and external tests to determine anesthesia suitability.
• Coordinate with anesthesia to ensure appropriate care for the patient.
• Prepare patient chart and import H&P into ProVation; import clearances into ProVation.
• Review schedules and coordinate with location leadership to fill all slots.
