Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an Endoscopy RN to provide essential nursing support for diagnosis and treatment. You will educate patients, prepare them for procedures, and ensure adherence to treatment plans.

Responsibilities include triaging calls, assisting with procedures, collecting specimens, administering medications, monitoring equipment, and maintaining sterile rooms. ACLS certification is required within 6 months; Endoscopy experience is preferred.

Job description

Role Overview:

An Endoscopy RN provides primary nursing support to assist physicians in diagnosis and treatment, offering patient education, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring adherence to treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Triage patient calls, document medical histories, assist with procedures, collect specimens, administer medications, monitor equipment, and maintain sterile environments. Provide patient instruction, support clinic activities, and assist with day-to-day operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Graduate from a specialty training program is required. Endoscopy experience is preferred; ACLS certification needed within 6 months. Ability to collaborate in a team, strong communication skills, and proficiency in clinical procedures are essential.

Additional Duties:

Execute and document patient communication, oversee chart checks, assist with IV insertions and medication administration, and ensure proper sterilization and setup of procedure rooms.

Work Environment:

Primarily in a clinical setting, adhering to policies and procedures, with on-call responsibilities and rotating shifts.
