Qualifications

• BSN required.
• RN license active in the state.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Three years of recent nursing experience including at least one year in healthcare management.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing care on an assigned unit.
• Provide clinical direction and supervision; maintain quality outcomes.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care.
• Develop quality initiatives; implement policies for efficient care delivery.
• Maintain unit patient care standards via continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure adherence to JCAHO and other regs.
• Analyze staffing needs and mix.
• Provide leadership, evaluate performance, and support planning.
• Promote staff development and growth.
• Participate in nursing research and product evaluations.
• Assist in budget development and inventory decisions.
