Job summary

You will assess patients, implement physician orders, and document care across the pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases. Your role includes maintaining a safe environment during conscious sedation, coordinating with physicians, managers, and peers, and ensuring accurate records in electronic charting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Nursing with current Ohio RN license.
• 1+ year of direct patient care experience as an RN.
• Special training/experience in endoscopic procedures preferred.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
• Ability to delegate appropriately and supervise patient care delivery.
• Proficient in English; willingness to learn new tasks and be cross-trained.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care pre-, intra-, and post-procedure within scope of Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Implement physician orders and assist as directed.
• Document thoroughly in all care areas and maintain medical records.
• Maintain endoscopy center facilities and ensure safety during conscious sedation.
