Job summary

Dignity Health Woodland Memorial Hospital in Woodland, CA is seeking an RN to provide compassionate, high-quality care across inpatient and procedural settings. You will perform assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires one year of Endoscopy and/or procedural sedation/critical care experience, active CA RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Endoscopy experience and/or procedural sedation/critical care experience.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs within the care plan.
• Plan care collaboratively with the healthcare team.
• Deliver competent, individualized nursing care.
• Evaluate patient responses to care and adjust plans accordingly.
• Administer Procedural Sedation and assist with biopsies and related procedures; prepare for bronchoscopy as needed.
• Reprocess all scopes to ensure sterility and readiness.

• Assess patients physical, psychosocial, and cultural needs considering diagnosis, age, care setting, desire for care and response to care plan.
• Plan care, collaborating with other members of the healthcare team.
• Deliver competent care as required by patient, plan of care, and care setting.
• Evaluate patients responses to care.
• Administer Procedural Sedation and/or be the procedural RN assisting with biopsies, esophageal banding, ERCP's, and GI bleeding. Also assist and administer sedation for outpatient bronchoscopy.
• Reprocessing all scopes

Required

• One (1) year Endoscopy experience and/or procedural sedation/critical care experience
