Job summary

Phaxis is seeking an LPN to join its Endoscopy team in King, NC for a temp-to-perm role with a Monday–Friday day schedule and no nights or weekends.

The ideal candidate will have an active North Carolina LPN license, strong IV insertion skills, and 1–2 years of Medical-Surgical or Endoscopy experience. The position offers growth potential and benefits upon permanent hire.

Qualifications

• Active North Carolina LPN license or Compact LPN license valid in NC.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong IV insertion skills.
• 1-2 years of Medical-Surgical or Endoscopy experience preferred.
• Willingness to obtain ACLS certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after endoscopy procedures.
• Perform IV insertions proficiently and safely.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure appropriate vascular access.
• Assist physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff during procedures.
• Monitor and support patient needs throughout the procedural process.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Help maintain an efficient daily procedural schedule.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and families.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused clinical environment.
• Assist with orientation and training of Endoscopy team members.
• Travel between practice locations when needed.

• Willingness to obtain ACLS certification within one year

• Strong communication and patient‑care skills

• Ability to work effectively with physicians, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other clinical staff

• Reliable transportation required

• Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
