Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while adhering to facility policies and delivering high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with the team and maintaining standards of practice. Georgia RN licensure and BLS certification are required, with a preference for hospital experience and additional certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• No experience required; new graduates eligible Required
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred
• 1 year in hospital setting for PRN positions preferred
• RN licensure in Georgia (GA) or multistate license required
• BCLS Basic Life Support required
• Advanced certification in field of specialty (if applicable) see addendum

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Functions within the organization’s policies and procedures and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff.
