Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) seeks a GI Tech to assist surgeons during endoscopic procedures. The role includes operating technical equipment, maintaining endoscopes, and supporting patient flow in the procedure room.

Responsibilities also cover cleaning, disinfecting, stocking, ordering supplies, and performing clerical tasks as needed to ensure smooth daily operations. BLS certification is required, with preference for ambulatory surgical center experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a GI Lab.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center or surgical hospital preferred.
• Current BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with operation of equipment used during endoscopic procedures.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopes and instruments.
• Manage patient flow and prepare the procedure room.
• Stock supplies and order materials.
• Handle clerical tasks as needed.
