Job summary

United Digestive is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to deliver anesthesia for endoscopy procedures. You will evaluate patients pre-procedure, administer anesthesia, monitor intra- and post-procedure status, and collaborate with the endoscopist and Anesthesia Medical Director.

Responsibilities include pre-screening, creating anesthesia care plans, airway management, and post-anesthesia care, with emphasis on safety and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Active RN license and CRNA credentials.
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Currently certified or recertified by NBCRNA.
• 3–5 years anesthesia experience preferred; endoscopy experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-screening evaluation (pre-calls) by telephone and chart review.
• Develop and implement anesthesia care plan.
• Manage pre-anesthetic medications and treatments.
• Perform airway management and administer analgesic/anesthetic agents.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and monitoring; evaluate patient response.
• Report adverse events and participate in safety initiatives.
