Job summary

Mount Sinai Health System’s premier freestanding ambulatory endoscopy center seeks an anesthesiologist to provide anesthesia for GI procedures, including colonoscopies and EGDs, predominantly ASA I–II patients. The role promises a clinical excellence-focused environment within a highly regarded Anesthesiology Department and a streamlined ambulatory site.

Typical weekday hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements, enabling a balanced lifestyle while delivering

Qualifications

• Board-certified/board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Experience with ambulatory GI procedures preferred.
• Comfort with ASA I–II patients and fast turnover settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for GI procedures (colonoscopies, EGDs) in ambulatory setting.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and rapid recovery.
• Monitor and manage ASA I–II patients with a Focus on efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and dedicated nursing staff.
