Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Endodontist Dental Assistant in Shelby, NC to support clinicians in a world-class dental service organization with strong training, competitive compensation, and flexible scheduling to help you thrive.

You will assist the Specialist chair-side, travel to nearby offices, take dental X-rays, set up and breakdown operatories, and uphold infection control while educating patients on oral hygiene. A license and x-ray certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active license, registration, or permit as required; including x-ray certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Travel to nearby offices to support patient care
• Take dental X-rays
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Manage infection control – prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain good oral health
• Perform various office tasks as necessary
• Work collaboratively with other members of the dental team to provide exceptional patient care
