Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Endodontist role based in the Washington DC-Baltimore area. The Endodontist will perform root canal treatments, retreatments, apical surgeries, and other endodontic procedures with a focus on pain management and patient comfort. Daily responsibilities include evaluating and diagnosing patients, interpreting radiographs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with referring dentists. The role also involves educating patients on procedures and post-operative care, maintaining accurate clinical records, and adhering to all infection control and safety protocols. The Endodontist will work closely with clinical and administrative team members to ensure efficient patient flow and a high standard of care.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical foundation in Dentistry and Endodontics, with demonstrated proficiency in root canal therapy and related procedures.
• Experience in comprehensive Patient Care and Dental Care, including patient education, pain management, and compassionate chairside manner.
• Background in Medicine or oral-systemic health considerations, with the ability to coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed.
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution, plus completed specialty training in Endodontics and valid state licensure (or eligibility).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment and serve a diverse patient population.
• Commitment to continuing education, quality improvement, and staying current with advances in endodontic techniques and technology.
