Point Place Dental in Stevens Point, WI seeks a compassionate Endodontist to join a well-established, patient-focused team in a modern, fully digital practice. You will diagnose and treat complex pulp and root canal conditions, offering both nonsurgical and surgical endodontic care while enjoying a collaborative, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited endodontic residency.
• Endodontic specialty certificate required/preferred.
• Wisconsin licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat complex pulp and root canal conditions.
• Perform nonsurgical and surgical endodontic procedures.
• Evaluate radiographs and CBCT to plan treatment.
• Manage pain, trauma, and emergencies.
• Educate patients on diagnoses and treatment options.
• Collaborate with general dentists and specialists.
• Maintain complete clinical documentation.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Stay current with endodontic techniques and technologies.

Your Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat complex dental pulp and root canal conditions.
• Perform nonsurgical and surgical endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, retreatments, and apicoectomies.
• Evaluate dental radiographs, CBCT scans, and clinical findings to develop accurate treatment plans.
• Manage dental pain, trauma-related injuries, and dental emergencies.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and aftercare.
• Collaborate with referring general dentists and dental specialists to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and practice standards.
• Adhere to infection control, safety, and sterilization protocols.
• Stay current with advancements in endodontic techniques, technologies, and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities as required.

What We're Looking For:

• D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited endodontic residency program
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Wisconsin
• Certificate of Specialty in Endodontics
• Board Certified by the American Association of Endodontics (AAE) preferred
• Clinical proficiency in the use of Dental Operating Microscope or Surgical Operating Microscope

Current Patient Care Hours:

• Monday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
