ETS Dental in Princeton, NJ is seeking a part-time Endodontist to cover 1–2 days per month. The position is a 1099 independent contractor role with compensation at 45% of production.
The practice already has 8–12 endodontic referrals per month, serving about 2,000 active patients (roughly 80% PPO, 15–20% fee-for-service) with no Medicaid or HMO. A dedicated assistant is available on your days, and the owner is purchasing a microscope, seeking input on what to buy.
This is a privately owned, doctor-led general practice in the Princeton/West Windsor area. The owner dentist runs the clinical side along with an in-house manager, so you deal directly with the people making decisions. No corporate layers, no regional manager, no production quotas handed down from somewhere else. The practice has served the Princeton community for over 20 years, already hosts an in-house board-certified Periodontist, and is now adding Endodontics. The referrals are already there. They need the right specialist to treat them.
Most part-time endo coverage gigs are a chair and a stack of charts. This one is different. The owners are willing to invest in the equipment you need, they are already sending out 8-12 endo cases a month that could be yours, and they are looking for a long-term relationship, not a fill-in. If you want a steady, predictable add-on day that can grow into more, without carrying the overhead of another location, this is a clean way to do it. The Princeton area is one of the strongest dental markets in New Jersey: highly educated, family-oriented, insured patients who value saving their natural teeth. Easy access to both New York City and Philadelphia.
Experienced Endodontists who take pride in quality work and communicate well with patients and referring doctors will be the best fit here.
Active New Jersey dental license and malpractice coverage required.
