Job summary

Oregon Health & Science University School of Dentistry in Portland seeks a faculty member to join the Division of Endodontology. The position focuses on didactic and clinical teaching in the Predoctoral DMD program and on overseeing patient care across the predoctoral and graduate endodontic clinics.

The appointee will engage in education initiatives, collaborate on research topics of interest, and may participate in the Faculty Dental Practice.

Qualifications

D.D.S. or D.M.D. from a CODA-accredited school or equivalent.
Completion of advanced education program in Endodontics from a CODA-accredited program.
Board Certification in Endodontics preferred but not required.
Ability to obtain an unrestricted Oregon Dental License or a Faculty License.
Experience in teaching, research, patient care, and academic management preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide services supporting teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
Oversee didactic and clinical education in the Predoctoral DMD program and Advanced Education in Endodontics.
Clinical oversight of patient care in the Predoctoral and Graduate Endodontic Clinics.
Engage in course directorship and other academic activities as assigned.
