Job summary

Morton Dental Group is seeking a skilled Endodontist to provide specialty care one day per week in the Brentwood office and one day per week in the East Nashville office. You will join a privately owned, doctor-led practice with an established referral network across Middle Tennessee and North Alabama.

This two-day-per-week opportunity offers a built-in referral network, support with scheduling and clinical prep, and modern offices with digital workflows.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited advanced education program in endodontics.
• Active, unrestricted Tennessee dental license or eligibility.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• DEA registration and prescribing credentials as required.
• Professional liability coverage or eligibility.
• Ability to satisfy credentialing and compliance requirements.
• Board certification or board eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose pulpal, periapical, and other endodontic conditions.
• Determine whether teeth can be predictably treated and preserved.
• Perform nonsurgical root canal therapy and retreatments.
• Evaluate and treat cracked, traumatized, infected, or previously treated teeth.
• Provide urgent care for dental pain or infection.
• Perform surgical endodontic procedures when appropriate.
• Use CBCT and digital imagery to support diagnosis and treatment.
• Explain treatment recommendations, prognosis, and postoperative care clearly.
• Provide compassionate care to anxious patients.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Communicate outcomes and follow-up needs to referring dentists.
• Collaborate with Dental Assistants, Patient Care Coordinators, and leadership.
• Follow patient-safety, infection-control, prescribing, and regulatory requirements.

Morton Dental Group is seeking a skilled, patient-focused Endodontist to provide specialty care one day per week in our Brentwood office and one day per week in our East Nashville office.

We are a privately owned, doctor-led dental organization with nine referring locations across Middle Tennessee and North Alabama. What You’ll Do

• Explain treatment recommendations, risks, prognosis, and postoperative care clearly
• Provide compassionate care to patients who may be anxious or uncomfortable
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate treatment outcomes and follow-up needs to referring dentists
• Collaborate with Dental Assistants, Patient Care Coordinators, and office leadership
• Follow all patient-safety, infection-control, prescribing, and regulatory requirements

Who We’re Looking For

The right Endodontist delivers efficient, high-quality specialty care while building trust with patients and referring providers. You communicate clearly, exercise sound clinical judgment, remain composed during complex cases, and work collaboratively with general dentists and clinical teams.

Schedule

This is a two-day-per-week position:

• One day per week at our Brentwood office

Specific days will be discussed during the interview process. Clinic patient hours are 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. No nights or weekends.

Compensation

This opportunity includes a daily guarantee and a competitive percentage of adjusted production. Specific compensation terms will be discussed during the interview process.
