Indianapolis Endodontics - Avon is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support our endodontic team in Indianapolis, IN. The role focuses on assisting during root canal procedures, sterilization, radiography, and patient education.

Qualifications

  • Certificate for dental assisting (preferred)
  • 3+ years of dental assisting experience (preferred)
  • X-ray certification for Indiana
  • BLS/CPR certification (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of dental hygiene procedures

Responsibilities

  • Assist the endodontist during root canal treatments and related procedures
  • Sterilize instruments and disinfect equipment per infection control standards
  • Take dental radiographs including CBCT if needed
  • Maintain patient records and charting using dental software
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
  • Ensure patient comfort and manage anxiety during procedures
  • Prepare dental materials as needed
  • Maintain inventory and order dental supplies
