Gulf Coast Endodontics - Baytown is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support a busy specialty practice. You will welcome patients, prep treatment, sterilize instruments, and assist the dentist in 4-handed dentistry while maintaining records and scheduling follow-ups.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience, knowledge of sterilization methods, OSHA compliance, and excellent communication. A high school diploma and relevant certificate are required or as mandated by law.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of proven experience as dental assistant, specialty is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations.
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• A strong attention to detail.
• Well-organized and reliable.
• A high school diploma.
• A certificate from an accredited dental assistant program (if required by law).
• An active state radiology license (if required by law).

Responsibilities

• Welcoming patients to the dental office and ensuring their comfort.
• Preparing patients for treatment and setting up instruments.
• Sterilizing instruments according to regulations.
• Assisting the dentist through 4-handed dentistry.
• Providing oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
