Job summary

The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis seeks an experienced endocrinologist to lead patient care and education for Veterans.

You will provide comprehensive endocrine services in a blend of inpatient and outpatient settings, and participate in hands-on teaching of fellows, residents, and medical students. You will work within a collaborative interdisciplinary team with opportunities for academic engagement and potential faculty appointment at the Indiana University School of

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completed an ACGME accredited residency.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in an ABMS specialty.
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the United States.
  • Endocrinology fellowship BE/BC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide endocrine care to Veterans in a mixed inpatient/outpatient setting.
  • Educate fellows, residents, and medical students through hands-on teaching.
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary endocrinology team and participate in clinical leadership.
  • Support potential faculty appointment and opportunities for collaborative research.

Physician Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree
  • Completed an ACGME accredited residency

  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in the United States
  • Desired completion of Endocrinology fellowship and BE/BC in Endocrinology.

Competitive salary with regular increases and an annual performance bonus of up to $15,000.
