Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is hiring an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Hanover, PA. This part-time role (3 days per week) focuses on diabetes, thyroid, and other hormone-related conditions, with a competitive salary and strong team support.

The position requires an active NP/PA license, DEA, CPR/BLS, and a Master's in Nursing from an accredited program. Prior endocrinology and long-term care experience are preferred, with EMR proficiency in Sigma/Visual/PCC.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP or PA license with DEA registration.
• Master's degree in nursing and accredited NP program completion.
• Experience in endocrinology preferred and long-term care exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive endocrinology care and coordinate patient care.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents with endocrine disorders.
• Order and interpret diagnostics; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medication and counsel residents and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Manage chronic conditions and adjust care plans as needed.

Job Summary

As an Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormone-related issues. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
• Assessing and treating patients with endocrinology diseases and conditions
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well-being
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments
• Provide counseling to residents and their families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress
• Make appropriate adjustments to care plans

• Create a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents in the nursing home

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Endocrinology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
