Job summary

The role supports patients in-office by rooming patients, taking vital signs, obtaining history, and coordinating care with the extended team to improve outcomes and patient experience. On-site position with weekday clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Endocrinology or chronic disease experience is a plus.
• Certified MA certification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and basic pharmacology.
• Experience with AthenaHealth EMR.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and document vitals, histories, and meds.
• Perform point-of-care testing and document results.
• Assist with injections and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Document in the EHR and manage patient communications.
