Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina's MUSC Health Orangeburg is seeking a skilled Advanced Practice Provider to support Endocrinology services. You will care for patients with complex endocrine disorders in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to improve long-term health outcomes.

The Endocrinology APP will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive environment that promotes professional growth, teamwork, and work-life balance for hospital and outpatient

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and licensure.
• Prior experience in endocrinology or chronic disease management preferred.
• Strong interest in endocrinology and long-term patient care.
• Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine disorders.
• Provide ongoing management and medication optimization for chronic endocrine conditions.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment adherence.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers, nursing staff, and care coordinators.
• Support outpatient-focused endocrinology services with potential inpatient consultation support as needed.
• Document care in Epic EHR and participate in quality improvement and care optimization initiatives.
