Job summary
Upperline Health Inc. is seeking a board-certified Endocrinologist (MD/DO) in Riverside/CA to join a multidisciplinary team focused on diabetes and endocrine disorders within a value-based care model.
The role includes consultative and longitudinal patient care in a clinic setting, with opportunities for leadership development and career growth. The position emphasizes coordination with care teams, incorporating CGMs and diabetes technology, and maintaining state licensure and CME requirements.
Qualifications
- MD/DO with Board Certification (or Eligibility) in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism
- Active medical license in the state of practice
- Experience with CGMs, insulin pumps, and diabetes technologies is preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered endocrine care focusing on diabetes, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders
- Lead development of individualized care plans in collaboration with other specialists
- Order, perform, and interpret labs and imaging as needed
- Educate patients on disease progression, medications, technology use, and lifestyle changes
- Document visits and treatment plans in EMR accurately
- Lead interdisciplinary case reviews and care planning
- Support quality improvement and clinical protocol development
