Job summary
Ochsner Health seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join the Lafayette General endocrine program in Lafayette, Louisiana. You will focus on pituitary disorders, endocrine malignancies, and cancer-therapy related endocrine issues within a growing team.
You will participate in clinical research, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to teaching medical residents and students while using the EPIC EMR across the system.
Qualifications
- Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist with interest in pituitary disorders, endocrine malignancies, and cancer therapy-related endocrine issues.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to manage complex endocrine conditions.
- Provide teaching and mentorship to residents and medical students.
- Engage in clinical research and potential trials within the endocrinology program.
Responsibilities
- Develop specialized clinical focus in pituitary disease and endocrine oncology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on complex endocrine cases.
- Join an established endocrinology practice with strong referral support and patient population.
- Participate in clinical research and serve as investigator on trials.
- Engage in teaching residents and medical students; utilize EPIC EMR across the health system.
