HealthYes Staffing Network is conducting a confidential search for a board-certified or board-eligible Endocrinologist to establish and grow a dedicated outpatient Endocrinology practice with a major regional health system in Southeast Alabama.
This is a full-time, hospital-employed opportunity created in response to substantial unmet demand for Endocrinology services throughout the region. The incoming physician will have a strong referral network, consistent patient volume, dedicated clinical support, and the autonomy to help shape the practice.

Position Highlights
- Full-time, permanent, hospital-employed position
- One hundred percent outpatient Endocrinology
- No inpatient responsibilities
- No evening, weekend, or overnight call
- Monday-Friday schedule, approximately 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage diabetes mellitus and related complications
- Treat thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, metabolic, and hormonal disorders
- Manage osteoporosis, calcium disorders, and other metabolic bone conditions
- Develop individualized treatment and disease-management plans
- Initiate and manage insulin, oral medications, and other endocrine therapies
- Interpret endocrine laboratory studies and diagnostic testing
- Provide ongoing education to patients managing chronic endocrine conditions
- Coordinate care with primary care physicians and medical specialists
- Help develop clinical workflows and protocols for the Endocrinology practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Participate in quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of, or current participation in, an Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Alabama medical license
- Eligible for medical-staff appointment and clinical privileges
- Strong communication and chronic disease-management skills
- Practicing Endocrinologists and 2027 fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply

- Estimated base compensation of $300,000-$400,000 annually
