Job summary
Southcoast Health is seeking a highly skilled Endocrinologist to join our ambulatory endocrinology team. The position involves diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders with a focus on diabetes, thyroid, and osteoporosis care.
You will work with a team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and diabetes educators in a comprehensive program, contributing to patient-centered care in a not-for-profit system serving New England communities.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification/eligibility in Endocrinology.
- New graduates welcome to apply.
- Must be able to obtain Massachusetts licensure before you begin practicing.
- Current state medical license and DEA registration.
- Demonstrated clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and effective communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose endocrine disorders in outpatient setting and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor chronic conditions with follow-up visits and coordinate care for complex cases.
- Educate patients about conditions, treatment options and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists for multidisciplinary care.
