Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System's Northeast Georgia Physicians Group is building a new endocrinology practice in Gainesville, GA, offering inpatient and outpatient endocrinology services. The team will provide diabetes management, hormone/thyroid care, and collaboration with cardiology for metabolic syndrome patients.

Clinicians will join a large, multidisciplinary system with access to residents and fellows, a robust EMR (Epic), and opportunities for research, teaching, and program development.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Endocrinology.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical Endocrinology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory and inpatient consults.
• Diabetes management including insulin pump and CGM.
• Thyroid and adrenal disease management within endocrine care.
• Coordinate care with cardiology for metabolic syndrome patients.
• Utilize Certified Diabetic Educators and nursing teams for pump management.
• Opportunities for research and collaboration with residents/fellows.
• EMR usage across inpatient and outpatient settings.
