Job summary

TAG MedStaffing is seeking an Endocrinologist to join our client’s team in Staten Island, NY. The physician will evaluate and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings, with inpatient consultations and shared care planning.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school is required.
• Active New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact is required.
• Board certification or board eligibility in Endocrinology is required.
• 1+ year of endocrinology clinical experience, including fellowship training, is required.
• Experience providing inpatient consultations and outpatient endocrinology care is required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and clinical documentation is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a broad range of endocrine and metabolic conditions.
• Provide ongoing outpatient endocrinology care, treatment planning, and disease management in an outpatient setting.
• Provide endocrinology consultations and clinical recommendations for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated patient care.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records using electronic medical record systems.
• Participate in scheduled inpatient and weekend coverage based on clinical needs.
