USA Health in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a full‑time board‑certified or board‑eligible Endocrinologist to join the Division of Endocrinology in the Department of Internal Medicine. The role combines inpatient endocrine consultations with outpatient clinical care, with teaching responsibilities for residents and medical students.

Academic appointment at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be commensurate with qualifications.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree, or equivalent.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship.
• S. board eligible or board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

Responsabilités

• Provide inpatient endocrine consultation and care, both independently and in collaboration with residents.
• Provide outpatient endocrinology clinical care.
• Educate and supervise Internal Medicine residents and medical students.
• Participate in residency program activities and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in inpatient general Internal Medicine teaching services as needed.
• Contribute to the academic mission of the department, with opportunities for career advancement through the academic promotions process.
