Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Medicine.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in a primary care specialty.
• Current California MD/DO license and active DEA registration.
• CPR certification.
• Completion of clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Manage acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care.
• Experience with transitions of care and chronic disease management.
• Provide inpatient nursing and call coverage as assigned by Medical Director.
• Case management of clinic patients admitted to hospitals with referrals to specialties.
• Provide consultative services for complex diagnostic or therapeutic problems.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team care planning.
• Preferred skills include skin biopsy, lesion excision, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy.

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range: $147.61-$200.99/hour, based on experience and qualifications

Job/Practice Description: Endocrinology

• Manages and provides acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care


• Experience with transitions of care, chronic disease management, and advanced goals-of-care discussions


• Inpatient skilled nursing coverage and call coverage as assigned by the Medical Director


• Case management of clinic patients admitted to hospitals, with referrals to medical specialties


• Consultative services for complex diagnostic or therapeutic problems as requested


• Interdisciplinary team care planning


• Preferred skills: skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy


• Must obtain staff privileges at local hospitals and nursing homes
