Job summary

Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Endocrinologist for locum tenens in Scarborough, ME to provide ambulatory outpatient endocrine and diabetes care.

You will see 16-20 patients per day, 4 days per week (4x10s) or 5 days (5x8s), with a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation. Privileges include hospital privileges; EPIC EMR experience is required; travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Endocrinology is required.
• Active ME license and Universal License (IMLC) are required.
• EPIC EMR experience is required, Covid/Flu vaccine required, references requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide ambulatory outpatient endocrinology and diabetes care.
• See 16-20 patients per day, 4 days per week (4x10s) or 5 days per week (5x8s).
• Manage hospital discharge patients, new patients and follow-ups.
• Collaborate with 11 physicians and 4 APPs.
• Optionally perform thyroid FNAs if skilled.
