Overview

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join the growing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of our expanding network. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical care for primarily outpatients in the subspecialty of endocrinology at the newest satellite office in Freehold NJ with some clinical time at the Endocrinology, Diabetes Clinics, and inpatient service at JSUMC.
  • Teach, precept, and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in various settings, including clinical rotations, and case management discussions.
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the Section Chief in ensuring adequate physician staffing and coverage.
  • Join a collaborative network of experienced physicians, specialists, and support staff who foster a culture of collaboration with strong clinical support.
  • Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine.
Qualifications
  • M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School
  • Board certified/eligible in endocrinology
  • NJ Medical License, CDS and DEA
Compensation

HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. The minimum base salary for this position is $223,622.
